Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website, purchasing artwork, booking services, or entering into a commission agreement with Courtlyn Harris, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or services.
Services Offered
Courtlyn Harris provides original artwork, canvas commissions, mural services, digital design services, website design, prints, and related creative services.
All artwork is original unless otherwise stated.
Payments & Deposits
- A non-refundable deposit is required to begin any custom project.
- Projects will not begin until the deposit has been received.
- Final payment is due before delivery, installation, or transfer of final files.
- Failure to complete final payment may result in withheld delivery of artwork or files.
Payment plans may be offered at the discretion of the artist.
Cancellations & Refunds
Due to the custom nature of creative work:
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- If a client cancels after work has begun, all rights to unfinished or completed work remain with the artist.
- No refunds will be issued for completed custom work.
- Physical products are final sale unless damaged during shipping.
If a product arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours with photographic proof.
Intellectual Property & Copyright
All artwork, designs, digital files, murals, and creative content remain the intellectual property of Courtlyn Harris unless explicitly transferred in writing.
Purchase of artwork does NOT transfer copyright ownership.
Clients may not:
- Reproduce artwork
- Resell artwork
- Alter artwork
- Use artwork commercially
without written permission or licensing agreement.
The artist reserves the right to use completed works for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes.
Revisions
Custom projects include a limited number of revisions as outlined in the individual project agreement.
Additional revisions beyond the agreed amount may incur additional fees.
Major design changes after approval may require a new contract.
Mural Services
For mural projects:
- The client is responsible for providing a safe and accessible work environment.
- Wall preparation is the responsibility of the client unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Outdoor projects are subject to weather delays.
- The artist is not responsible for damage caused by structural issues, weather, vandalism, or improper wall preparation.
Digital Design & Website Services
Final files will be delivered upon receipt of full payment.
Unless otherwise stated:
- Source files may require an additional purchase.
- Website maintenance is not included unless specified in a separate agreement.
The artist is not responsible for third-party platform outages, hosting issues, or domain expiration.
Shipping
Shipping costs are calculated separately unless otherwise stated.
Courtlyn Harris is not responsible for:
- Carrier delays
- Lost packages once marked delivered
- Customs fees for international orders
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Courtlyn Harris shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of services or products.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Changes to Terms
Courtlyn Harris reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of services or website constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
